On June 2, 2008, Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing it will acquire US Franchise Systems Inc. and its Microtel Inns & Suites and Hawthorn Suites hotel brands from a subsidiary of Global Hyatt Corporation.
